Camelia Florea
About
Camelia FLOREA, born in 1981, received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering in 2005, and 2009, respectively, from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at the same university, in the Department of Communications, Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology.
Her research interests are:
- Image processing and analysis: computational intelligence, machine learning and probabilistic methods;
- Compressed domain image/video processing and analysis (JPEG/MPEG): numerically efficient implementations in the compressed domain of image enhancement, analysis and segmentation algorithms.
