Karen Byrnes Allen
About
Karen Allen obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1978. Drawn to a scientific work setting, she began her professional career at the Solar Energy Research Institute (formerly SERI, now known as the National Renewable Energy Laboratory) as a software developer. Her work there was the beginning of a life long interest in the qualities, nature and applications of various forms of energy.
While at SERI, she worked on projects that were exploring the applications of material sciences and microbiology in renewable energy. Ms. Allen continued her career in software development and management, working domestically and internationally as a consultant in both public sector and private venture business projects for 15 years.
Eventually, the serious illness of a family member turned Ms. Allen’s professional attention toward optimising human health through holistic medicine. During this time, she experienced the limitations drug and surgery based conventional medicine. With feelings of dissatisfaction about medical options, she began to explore energy medicine, yoga, meditation, Reiki and other natural healing approaches. Her experience provided the motivation to transition to a career in integrative healthcare. After completing a series of training programs in holistic disciplines including acupressure, mind-body medicine, counselling, hypnotherapy, homoeopathy, nutrition, Qi gong, and Tai chi, she began clinical practice in 1994.
During the first decade of practice, Ms. Allen’s work with clients focused on the experience of emotional trauma and psychosomatic disorders that limit many people from experiencing love of life, happiness, mental wellbeing, deeper relationships, motivation, calmness, life purpose, and freedom from pain and suffering. Many of these clients who reported symptoms of anxiety disorders, panic attacks, depression, loneliness, low self esteem, feeling hopeless and worthless. Through the use of homoeopathy, counselling, hypnotherapy and visualisation, many clients experienced improved quality of life, with relief of troubling symptoms.
From 2001 to 2007, Ms. Allen was on the faculty of Bastyr University, a leading Naturopathic training centre in Seattle, Washington. During this time, she taught courses in homoeopathic medicine and led a teaching clinic that provided the naturopathic students with the opportunity to work with clients with severe migraines, bipolar disorder, anorexia bulimia, irritable bowel syndrome, and a variety of autoimmune disorders.
During her second decade of practice, Ms. Allen’s work primarily addressed endocrine and reproductive system issues, including premenstrual syndrome, menstrual cycle disorder, pregnancy and fertility issues, sexual disorders, low libido, premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, and menopause. She developed therapeutic strategies for endometriosis and subchorionic hematoma that she has taught nationally and internationally.
As a leader in the field of natural healers and integrative health, Ms. Allen served on the board of directors for the Integrative Health Policy Consortium (IHPC), an advisory body that engages policy dialogue with representatives of the US Congress and Senate, theNational Institutes of Health, and the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health. While on the IHPC board, Ms. Allen drafted statements for the Food and Drug Administration regarding natural health product labelling.
As she approached 20 years of cumulative work in the energy medicine field, Ms. Allen’s interest in optimising human health moved more strongly toward subtle energies that impact health. In 2013, Ms. Allen’s interest in health, consciousness, transformation and personal development led her to the remarkable energy healing work of Guruji Mahendra Kumar Trivedi. After receiving a biofield energy healing treatment from Mr. Trivedi, she experienced a profound improvement in her health and quality of life.
Coming from humble beginnings in India, Mr. Trivedi discovered in 1995 that he had a unique ability to harness life force and transmit it to any location or entity anywhere on the globe. He found that he could infuse this intelligent energy into both nonliving material and living organisms, to develop and optimise their potential. The Trivedi Effect is the result of a transference of energy through Mr. Trivedi’s direction of life force energy through his thought and intention. Since 1995, more than 250,000 people have sought out and expressed benefit from the Trivedi Effect.
Mr. Trivedi is unique among energy healers, in that his work is scientifically validated by over 4000 research studies in many life sciences and material sciences which include agriculture, biotechnology, cancer research, genetics, microbiology, and human health. Nearly 200 of Mr. Trivedi’s research studies have been published in leading international peer reviewed science journals. Thes publications have been adopted by leading universities world wide including Brown, Cambridge, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, MIT, Oxford, Penn State, Princeton and Yale.
Through Mr. Trivedi’s research agenda, the Trivedi Effect continues to be applied to a breadth of scientific fields, expanding the boundaries of understanding about biofield energy and its impacts. Through his ability to harness and optimise the human biofield, Mr. Trivedi has repeatedly demonstrated his capacity to enhance and transform a wide variety of living organisms, as well as inert materials at atomic, molecular and cellular levels.
Over the past 7 years, Mahendra Kumar Trivedi established the “Trivedi Master Wellness” programs to use his ability for the betterment and transformation of thousands of people. Individuals who were already working in the healing professions were able to work more closely with Mr. Trivedi to develop their own capacity to harness this natural life force and direct it for the benefit of humanity.
With the direction and assistance of Mr. Trivedi, a group of 110 energy healers were able to scientifically validate their own ability to harness this life force, with research to document the outcomes of this remarkable, intelligent energy.
Ms. Allen, along with her esteemed colleagues Michael Ellis, Jeffery Peoples, James Meuer, Johanne Dodon, John Griffin, John Suzuki, Joseph Foty, Judy Weber, Julia McCammon, Kathryn Sweas, Lezley Wright, Lisa Knoll, Madeline Michaels, Margaret Wahl, Mark Stutheit, Michelle Barnard, Muriel Mae Ranger, Paromvong Sinbandhit and V.J Kris Elig, were among those who completed research studies in 2015-2016 demonstrating their ability to create remarkable outcomes from the use of this energy.
